After “a detailed and exhaustive mediation process,” the Port of Seattle has settled its outstanding contract issues with G&T Conveyor and a subcontractor for $10 million, according to staff memos.
In May of 2004, the port awarded G&T Conveyor a $25 million contract to build a baggage handling system at Sea-Tac Airport. Since then, there have been 166 change orders to that contract totalling $9.5 million.
