Delays in permits for street work

SEATTLE — The Seattle Department of Transportation is temporarily extending street improvement plan reviews due to an increased number of permit applications.

Formal circulation and design guidance review cycles may experience delays of up to two weeks, SDOT said. All new street improvement permit applications will be scheduled for an eight-week turnaround. SDOT said it will return to a six-week turnaround cycle as soon as possible.
