$71M sought for Oregon highways

PORTLAND (AP) — A Portland advisory committee has approved a $70.7 million request to the federal government to help pay for $120.3 million in highway projects to ease traffic congestion.

The Joint Policy Advisory Committee on Transportation has six high-priority projects for a six-year transportation spending bill Congress will consider next year.
