$24M road is sought for Red Mountain wine area

BENTON CITY (AP) — Officials in south-central Washington have asked the state for millions of dollars to improve road access to a popular winery.

Whether they're likely to get the money remains to be seen, given the push by officials in other parts of the state for road projects in tight budget times.
