Portland to review pitches for stadium

PORTLAND (AP) — The city of Portland has formed a task force to evaluate proposals to remodel PGE Park and build a new baseball stadium.

The Portland Beavers baseball team would play at the new stadium. The soccer team would play at PGE Park — if Major League Soccer picks Portland to become the hometown for one of two expansion teams and funding is available to upgrade the park.
