McKinstry awarded $5B federal contract

  • The Seattle firm will design, build and obtain funding for energy-efficient projects in federal buildings across the country.

    Seattle-based McKinstry won a 10-year contract worth up to $5 billion that calls for a spate of energy-efficient projects in federal buildings.

    “We believe this award to be an important first step in the greening of America through energy efficiency, and we are pleased to be part of this effort,” McKinstry President Doug Moore said in a press release.
