Twin tunnel bids come in low: $309M

Sound Transit announced a low bid of $309.2 million yesterday for a project to dig twin tunnels from the University of Washington to Capitol Hill.

The bid, from Traylor Frontier-Kemper Joint Venture, was one of two the agency received. The other was from JCM U-Link Joint Venture, which submitted a bid of $360.8 million.
