TACOMA — LeMay-America's Car Museum's board of directors last week approved a financing plan and will prepare for an anticipated fall ground-breaking for the museum, adjacent to the Tacoma Dome.
The decision was based on a review of the project's funding plan, which includes gifts and pledges received to date in the museum's $58 million campaign, a $3.5 million loan from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and an anticipated $4 million in New Market Tax Credits.
