TACOMA — The city of Tacoma is seeking a contractor to build a 350-foot-long concrete esplanade along the west side of the Thea Foss Waterway. Estimated cost of the project is between $1 million and $1.3 million.
The construction contract includes tearing out the old timber dock and driving 15 steel and 15 concrete piles to support the new 20-foot-wide esplanade, which will have lighting, railing and benches.
