PORT TOWNSEND, Jefferson County — JeffCom 911 is seeking a contractor to build emergency radio facilities at three sites in Jefferson and Kitsap counties. The contract is estimated at $400,000 to $500,000, but could be more if a fourth site is added to the work.
Construction will involve clearing and grading, security fences, temporary equipment shelters, concrete foundations and slabs, a CMU building and a CMU screen wall. The contractor will also install two pre-fabricated equipment structures and three emergency generators, all provided by the owner. Radio, microwave and other electronics will be installed by others.
