$140M fix for I-5 near Vancouver

VANCOUVER — The Washington State Department of Transportation and Clark County on Wednesday will hold an open house to discuss the $140 million Salmon Creek Interchange project near Vancouver.

The project will reduce congestion and improve safety in the fast-growing Salmon Creek area by constructing a new Interstate 5 interchange at Northeast 139th Street, increasing capacity at the Interstate 205 northbound off-ramp to Northeast 134th Street, and constructing other local road improvements between Vancouver, Clark County and the two freeways.
