RapidRide bid 46% less than estimate
SEATTLE — Prime Electric submitted the apparent low bid to install the intelligent transportation system for Metro's RapidRide A-Line between Tukwila and Federal Way.
The bid of $1.23 million is nearly 46 percent less than the engineer's estimate for the project. A Metro representative said the goal is to award the contract by mid-January.
