Tom Zamzow was operating bulldozers at the ripe old age of 10 and “bidding” a construction job just a couple years later. Back in the day, he probably wasn't thinking he would end up managing a construction company or leading a large construction association, but an early taste for construction led him down that path.
Zamzow, regional manager for Granite Construction, said a big part of being president of the AGC of Washington this year is giving something back to the construction community, as well as supporting the association's mantra of skill, responsibility, integrity and community.
