SEATTLE — The city will hold a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11 to receive comments on Sound Transit's noise variance application for the boring of a light rail tunnel between Capitol Hill and downtown.
The variance seeks higher limits for nighttime construction noise for the project's above-ground work. Sound Transit's application includes a noise analysis, a mitigation plan and a plan for a third-party to monitor the noise.
