Nooksack River bridge opening delayed

WSDOT has delayed opening the new Nooksack River bridge in Whatcom County. The steel through-truss bridge was supposed to open yesterday, but crews from Max J. Kuney Co. were still removing falsework and changing out .75-inch bolts for 1-inch bolts.
