WSDOT says overpass would save $50M on viaduct project

State officials estimate that redesigning the South Atlantic Street crossing on state Route 99 will shave more than $50 million from the cost of replacing the Alaskan Way Viaduct, and present some new opportunities for design and construction of the project.
