Oregon town may get new hospital

COQUILLE, Ore. — Coquille Valley Hospital officials are looking at building a replacement hospital using the design-build method.

The 25-bed hospital, which serves 13,0000 residents on Oregon's southern coast, opened in 1970. “We've just reached a point where we can't accommodate [new technology] any more,” said hospital CEO Dennis Zielinski.
