Bid dispute on Sounder job

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — Sound Transit rejected MidMountain Contractors' apparent low bid of $40.8 million on a big Sounder commuter rail project in Tacoma.

Sound Transit officials said MidMountain did not submit all required paperwork. Sound Transit CEO Joni Earl said MidMountain is protesting the decision.
