SEATTLE — King County is starting to take down the closed South Park Bridge, and continues to pursue ways to replace the South Seattle span over the Duwamish River.
The county is hiring someone to remove and salvage the leaves of the draw bridge. That could cost up to $1.3 million, according to a call for bids in the July 19 DJC. Bids are due Aug. 2.
