Brightwater education center gets $40,000 for rooftop solar

Friends of the Hidden River, a group of local teachers, and King County have secured a $40,000 grant from Snohomish County PUD to install a rooftop solar array on the $8.1 million, 15,000-square-foot Brightwater Education/Community Center at the treatment plant.
