$1M for barriers at transit tunnel

SEATTLE — Sound Transit Board members last week approved a new capital project to design and construct security barriers at the south entry of the downtown Seattle transit tunnel.

The overall cost is approximately $1 million, and the work should be done in about nine months, according to an agency memo.
