Workers fix paint on Narrows Bridge

TACOMA (AP) — High above the Tacoma Narrows, painters wearing hard hats and safety vests are repairing blisters in the paint of the cables on the new bridge.

Work on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge — about 510 feet above the Puget Sound — is expected to be finished by the end of August.
