Seismic upgrade for Everett fire station

By JOURNAL STAFF

EVERETT — The Federal Emergency Management Agency said Everett will get a $1.9 million grant to seismically retrofit Everett Fire Station No. 2 and the Fire Department Administration Building.

When complete, the complex should allow immediate occupancy following a moderate-to-strong earthquake, the agency said.
