South Park Bridge low bid: $96M

SEATTLE — The apparent low bidder to build a new South Park Bridge is Kiewit-Massman, a joint venture of Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. and Massman Construction Co. The joint venture bid just over $96 million. King County’s estimate for the project was between $98 million and $108 million.

The county will review the bid before entering into a formal contract with Kiewit-Massman. Construction is expected to begin in May and take 32 months. Completion is expected in late 2013.
