Eleven cherry trees will provide a buffer between the street and King Street Station. The goal is for one of station tenants facing the plaza to be a cafe or restaurant.

This spring, the space outside King Street Station at Jackson Street will complete a transition from grimy parking lot to tree-lined plaza. The project will reconnect a piece of Pioneer Square that has been separated for years.
