$2M fix for SR-20 on Whidbey Island

OAK HARBOR, Island County — Construction could begin later this month on $2 million in improvements to state Route 20 south of Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island.

Interwest Construction's bid of $2.27 million was the apparent low of three firms seeking the job. The engineer's estimate was $2.07 million.
