Pipeline contractor fined for Nevada death, injuries

ELKO, Nev. (AP) — A Ruby Pipeline contractor is being fined $36,000 in Nevada for violations in a trench accident that killed a worker in December and a truck crash that hurt seven workers in October.

The Elko Daily Free Press reports that Precision Pipeline of Eau Claire, Wis., is contesting the Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration findings.
