New Corps project saves a lot of old timbers, and at least one company

The team took about 193,000 board feet of timber and 150,000 board feet of decking from the old warehouse, and is putting 140,000 board feet of it into the Corps headquarters.

When the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers moves into its $72 million headquarters in South Seattle, one of the most striking elements will be the reclaimed timber used throughout the interior.
