PSRC has $2.3M for transit projects

SEATTLE — The Puget Sound Regional Council plans to distribute $2.3 million in federal transit funds for several improvement projects.

The list includes $1 million for additional Community Transit ADA paratransit service, $1.2 million for Community Transit preventative maintenance work, $50,000 for preliminary engineering and design for a 250-stall Kitsap Transit park-and-ride lot in Silverdale, and $50,000 to prepare environmental documents for a 3- to 5-acre land purchase for a transfer center in East Bremerton.
