SEATTLE — The city is seeking a contractor to prepare the old Greyhound maintenance facility at 1250 Denny Way for a future $200 million electrical substation.
Site work, estimated at $6.3 million, involves demolition of an existing building and removal of hazardous materials; shoring, excavation and removal of contaminated soil; and backfill with clean soil. The project will be completed in two phases with a suspension period during the winter.
