$14M wastewater plant out for bids

CASHMERE, Chelan County — The city of Cashmere is looking for a contractor to upgrade its wastewater treatment facility at an estimated cost of $13.2 million to $14.6 million. Bids are due June 19.

The project involves construction of an activated sludge wastewater treatment facility with a headworks building, concrete aeration and equalization basins, equipment building, solids handling building, administration and maintenance buildings, and aerobic digesters. Work is expected to be substantially complete in 790 days.
