Rolling septic truck kills motorcyclist

PUYALLUP (AP) — A 30-year-old man riding his motorcycle in Puyallup was struck and killed by an unsecured and unmanned septic truck rolling down a hill.

Pierce County sheriff's office spokesman Ed Troyer says the truck's driver told deputies he had set the parking brake, but an inspection showed the brake had not been set.
