$50M paint job for Aurora Bridge

SEATTLE — A $5.7 million seismic retrofit for the Aurora Bridge is expected to finish later this month, but there's more work in store for the 80-year-old bridge.

The Washington State Department of Transportation is planning a two-phase project to paint the entire structure to prevent rust and corrosion. The first phase will go out for bids in the spring of 2014.
