KETCHUM, Idaho (AP) — A hydroelectric entity that generates power at a leaking reservoir in south-central Idaho has filed a lawsuit against a canal company seeking to force the canal company to drop the reservoir's level so the dam can be repaired.
Magic Reservoir Hydroelectric, a wholly-owned subsidiary of J.R. Simplot Co., filed the lawsuit Oct. 23 in 5th District Court against the Big Wood Canal Co.
