City moving quickly on seawall; GC/CM will be picked on Friday

SDOT is running an experiment at Pier 62/63 to compare the light-penetrating levels of glass planks, steel grating and solar tubes.

Now that Seattle voters have approved a 30-year, $290 million bond measure to reconstruct the aging Elliott Bay seawall, the city is moving quickly on the next stages of the project.
