Alaskans approve $453M in bonds

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Alaska voters have approved nearly a half-billion dollars in bonds for transportation projects statewide.

With nearly all precincts reporting, 57 percent of voters voted in favor of the $453 million transportation bond package with 43 percent voting against it before outstanding ballots were counted.
