County to replace transfer station

SEATTLE — King County is planning to build a new transfer and recycling station in Factoria that will cost between $40 million and $45 million.

A request for qualifications will be issued in December and a pre-bid open house will be at 10 a.m. Nov. 15 at King Street Center in Seattle. Information is available from Darren Chernick, contract specialist, at (206) 263-9321.
