Kenworth building Lakewood dealership

LAKEWOOD, Pierce County — Kenworth Northwest last week held a ground-breaking ceremony for a new dealership at 12507 Pacific Hwy. S.W. in Lakewood. The 26,400-square-foot truck dealership is expected to open in early summer of 2013.

“Due to traffic congestion on I-5, we needed to be closer to our customer base so we can better service them,” said Kenworth Northwest President Marshall Cymbaluk in a release. The closest Kenworth Northwest facility to the Tacoma area is in SeaTac.
