Anchorage, Alaska-based Siku Construction opened an office in Seattle to focus on owner representation, pre-construction and construction management services for clients on the West Coast. It is headed up by newly hired general manager Bill Polis, who has been involved in the local construction scene for more than 30 years. Siku Construction, an SBA 8(a) company, is one of four subsidiaries under the UICCS umbrella. UICCS is a holding company of Ukpeagvik Inupiat Corp., an Alaska Native corporation of the village of Barrow.
