Cities get $30M for transportation

OLYMPIA — Cities within King County are sharing $30 million from the state Transportation Improvement Board. A total of $104 million in TIB grants generated by gas taxes are going to 125 agencies statewide.

In Seattle, $5 million will help fund $19.2 million in improvements to 23rd Avenue from South Rainier Avenue to East John Street.
