SEATTLE — The National Park Service issued a finding of no significant impact for removing and replacing non-historic structures at Camp Muir, located on a 10,080-foot ridge on Mount Rainier.
The park service said between 9,000 and 11,000 climbers come to the mountain annually, and two thirds climb through Camp Muir. About 500 climbers and hikers visit daily during July and August.
