Amazon to open 3rd center in Calif.

SEATTLE — Amazon.com said it will open its third distribution site in California.

The Seattle-based online retailer said it plans to build a 1 million-square-foot fulfillment center in Tracy, a city of about 83,000, approximately 60 miles east of San Francisco.
