SEATTLE — An 89-year-old Lynnwood woman won $1.1 million last week after a King County jury agreed that exposure to asbestos from her husband's work clothes caused her to contract a deadly form of cancer.
Phyllis Granville brought the case against 13 defendants, claiming they negligently made and sold unsafe floor tiles containing asbestos.
