Work to begin on Kenai visitor center

KENAI, Alaska (AP) — Construction is set to begin this spring on a new visitor center at the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.

The Peninsula Clarion says the $6 million building is slated to open in the fall of 2014, and serve the approximately 1 million people who visit the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge each year.
