Idaho fire guts century-old buildings

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — An early morning fire destroyed a pair of historic buildings in the Idaho mountain mining town of Mullan.

The blaze at the Silver Eagle Bar and the adjoining United Steelworkers of America union hall created a glow that could be seen for miles in the dark sky.
