CRAIGMONT, Idaho (AP) — The owners of three grain and pea elevators in the small northern Idaho town of Craigmont that were destroyed by fire said they intend to rebuild.
The structures were burned to the ground in a blaze that ignited Sunday in a garbanzo bean elevator. The region is part of some of the richest garbanzo bean growing land in the country, as farmers produce a crop that's fueling America's escalating taste for hummus.
