The ride on SR 520 will get smoother

BELLEVUE — Travel is about to get smoother on state Route 520 between Bellevue and Redmond.

Granite Construction Co. will begin shutting down lanes and ramps tonight for grinding and repaving nearly three miles of the highway between 108th Avenue Northeast and West Lake Sammamish Parkway. The contractor is also repaving 10 ramps, replacing expansion joints on four bridges and repairing bridge decks.
