SEATTLE — The Port of Seattle put out an advance notice of a contract to rebuild the center runway at Sea-Tac Airport that could be worth $100 million.
The 9,426-foot-long runway will be rebuilt next year in its existing location using Portland cement concrete pavement. Work will be performed in four phases, including ancillary work in 2016 within the safety area of the runway closest to the terminal.
