PORTLAND (AP) — Police finally caught up with a man Monday evening in Portland after they say he stole a forklift, crashed through a garage and fence and led officers on a chase across railroad tracks.
The Oregonian reports officers searched but couldn't find the man after the initial report he crashed through a garage and was driving down a street. About two hours later, another call reported a man had crashed a forklift through a fence and was driving onto railroad tracks along the Willamette River.
