Tarragon expects to finish Building A later this month and start Building B by next summer at its two-building Salmon Creek Corporate Park in Sumner. The site is at 3901 150th Ave. Court E.

Sierra Construction over the summer started Building A, a 134,600-square-foot concrete tilt-up structure with 127,000 square feet of warehouse space and three office areas totaling 6,700 square feet. It has a 30-foot clear height, 26 dock doors with dock seals, concrete truck aprons and drive-in ramps, and 92 car and 15 trailer parking stalls.

The pad for the 133,100-square-foot Building B has been preloaded. That phase of construction will have 3 acres of trailer parking, including a separate lot adjacent to Building B.

Tahoma Design Group is the architect and AHBL is the structural engineer.

John Sullivan and John Gilliland at CBRE are the leasing agents.

Sullivan said a letter of intent has been signed for 36,000 square feet of Building A by a logistics company that is new to the area. He said tenant demand is highest for local space under 75,000 square feet, which Salmon Creek caters to.

Subcontractors on Building A are: Miles Resources (paving), Panelized Structures (roof structure), AAA Welding (steel fabrication), Weatherguard Roofing, Patriot Fire Protection, Olsen Electric and Teufel Landscape.

Sierra's team is led by senior account manager Bryan Ploetz, project manager Nolan Vela and superintendent Wade Turner.
